Terms of use
Last updated 8 October 2026
1. About these terms
Linky is run by Syane Devs ("we"). By using the Linky app or its web pages you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Linky. You need to be at least 13 to use it.
2. What Linky does
Linky looks at a TikTok or a screenshot, spots the clothes in it, and searches shops for the same pieces and lookalikes. Results are suggestions made by software: they can be wrong, and prices, stock and links come from the shops and can change. We don't sell anything ourselves. When you buy something, you buy it from the shop, on the shop's terms.
3. Credits, the free trial and plans
- Spotting the clothes in a TikTok or screenshot is free. Finding a piece in shops, and searching for similar pieces, costs 1 credit each, also when it was found before.
- When a search finds neither the piece nor a lookalike, the credit is given back.
- The free trial lasts 7 days, with 10 credits in total and at most 5 a day. There's one free trial per install, and we may limit trials to stop misuse.
- Plans give a number of credits each month. Credits a plan didn't use don't carry over to the next month. Packs (10 credits) don't expire. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
- Plans are subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play, billed by Apple or Google. They renew automatically until you cancel in your store account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds follow Apple's or Google's rules.
- Saving pieces to your wardrobe comes with a plan.
4. Using Linky fairly
Please don't:
- use Linky's server other than through the app or its pages, copy it at scale, or get around its limits;
- upload pictures you don't have the right to share, or that are illegal, sexual, or show someone in a way they wouldn't agree to;
- use Linky to harass anyone, or for anything illegal.
We may limit or stop access for anyone who does.
5. TikToks, Discover and share pages
TikToks belong to their creators. Linky isn't made by or connected to TikTok. Discover shows public TikToks people scanned, and share pages show a scan's results with a link to the TikTok. If something there shouldn't be, tap ⋯ on the card to report it, or email us. We remove what breaks these terms or the law.
6. Shops and links
Links take you to shops' own websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products, prices or privacy practices. Linky may earn a commission when you buy through its links; that never changes which pieces you see first, or what you pay.
7. Changes and availability
We work to keep Linky running, but we can't promise it's always available or free of mistakes. We may change or stop features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we update the date at the top; using Linky after that means you accept the new terms.
8. Liability
Linky is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for what you buy from shops based on its results. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by agreement.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the protection of your own country's consumer law.
